Time zone, currency and leave rules
Every company keeps its own clock, money and leave rules. Admins set them in Settings.
Time zone
Settings → Company → Time zone. Every day in Clockade is a day in this zone: when the office opens, who was late, lunch, the nightly run, and the clock in the Mac and Windows apps. Summer time is followed where the zone has it. Days already recorded keep their dates.
Currency
Settings → Company → Staff money in. Salaries, payroll, expenses, loans and expense funds are kept in this currency. Pick it before your first payroll: amounts already saved are not converted. Clients are still billed in their own currency, set on each client.
Leave and pay
Under Settings → Money defaults:
- A day's pay: what one unpaid day takes off a salary. Salary ÷ 30, ÷ the days in the month, or ÷ the working days in the month (your Saturdays and holidays count).
- Free leave days a month: each person's free days, 1.5 to start. One person's month can still be changed on their payroll row.
- Notice for unpaid leave: none, 24 hours, 48 hours or a week.
Automatic bookings
Under Settings → Time & attendance → Lateness, two switches decide whether late time and empty working days are taken from leave by themselves each night. See How lateness is counted and Automatic absences.
