Help · Attendance and leave
Leave allowance and unpaid leave
Each person gets 1.5 free leave days a month. Unused days don't carry over.
What uses the allowance
Approved leave, automatic absences and late deductions all count against the same free days, in the order they happen.
Unpaid leave
Anything over the free days is unpaid. Unpaid leave must be asked for at least 24 hours before the start of its first unpaid day; Clockade won't accept it later than that.
On payroll
Payroll takes each person's leave for the month and deducts unpaid days at salary ÷ 30 per day. An admin can change one person's allowance for one month in their payroll row (Free allowance). See Running payroll.
Staff see their free and unpaid days on My attendance, in days, never money.
