Automatic absences and short days

No time and no leave

A working day with no time on the timer and no leave asked for counts as one full day of leave, booked automatically each night.

It is not booked:

  • on Sundays, Saturdays that are off, or company holidays;
  • when nobody in the team logged any time that day (it was probably a holiday);
  • when the person asked for leave that day, even if it is still waiting;
  • before the person's first day in Clockade.

If approved missing time later fills the day, the automatic absence is taken back by itself.

Deciding on Team time

On Team time → Month → Needs you, each absence offers Count as 1 day leave, It was a holiday (adds a holiday for everyone) or Ignore.

Short days

A day with less time than needed shows as a short day on Team time, but it is never deducted by itself. To deduct it, open the person's month, tick the days and add leave By the time they were short.
