Installing Clockade on Windows

Clockade for Windows runs on Windows 10 and 11.

Install

  • Download Clockade.exe from My attendance and run it. It installs itself for your Windows user, adds a Start menu entry and starts with Windows.
  • If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", press More info, then Run anyway.
  • Type the 6-digit code from My attendance → Connect this laptop and press Connect.
  • Allow Start with Windows and Windows notifications, then press Start using Clockade.

The tray

Closing the window keeps Clockade running in the tray, next to the clock. Click the tray icon for your time today, Start, Stop and breaks, missing time and Open Clockade. Quit Clockade stops the timer.

Pages in the app

Today, This week (with earlier weeks), Add missing time, Leave, My requests and Settings. Settings shows the connection, today's timings and updates, and lets you disconnect the laptop.

Screenshots need no permission on Windows. A tray note reminds you in the morning if your timer is still off.
