Getting started with Clockade

Clockade tracks working time, attendance, leave and payroll for small teams in one place. Your company has its own address, like acme.clockade.com, and everyone signs in there.

Three steps to a working setup

• Invite your team from People → Add person, or from the welcome screen you see after sign-up. See Inviting your team.
• Install the app on each laptop. Each person downloads Clockade for Mac or Windows from My attendance and connects it with a 6-digit code. See Download Clockade for Mac and Windows.
• Check your working day under Settings → Time & attendance: when the day starts and ends, lunch, breaks and Saturdays. See Set your working hours.

What new companies start with

A new company starts with a 9:00 to 18:00 day, an automatic one-hour lunch at 13:00, Saturdays and Sundays off, and 1.5 free leave days per person per month. Change any of it in Settings; laptops pick up a change within a minute.

Where things are

• Today is your home page: hours this week, recent activity and anything waiting for you.
• My attendance is each person's own day, month, leave and missing-time requests.
• Team time (admins) shows everyone's day live, the month, and what needs a decision.
• Payroll turns the month's leave into salaries and payslips.

Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere to jump to a page, a person or a client. The Help button in the app answers questions from these articles.
