Terms of service
Last updated 8 October 2026
Clockade is made by Innovation With Pixels, a software company in Pakistan ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between us and the company that signs up for Clockade (the "customer"). The person who signs up confirms they can agree on the company's behalf.
What Clockade is
Clockade is a service for tracking working time, attendance, leave, payroll calculations, expenses, client work and shared logins. It runs on the web at the customer's own address (for example acme.clockade.com) and through Mac and Windows apps and a browser extension.
Your account
- The customer is responsible for who it invites and what role each person has.
- Keep passwords private and turn on two-step sign-in for admins.
- Tell us at once if you think someone got into your account.
Tracking people fairly
Clockade can record working time, screenshots and which apps and websites are in use while the timer runs. The customer is responsible for telling its staff what is recorded and why, and for following the employment and privacy laws that apply to it. Clockade only records while a person's timer is running.
Payment
- Plans are priced per person per month. Everyone active or invited counts; deactivated people don't.
- A card is taken at sign-up. The first charge is 14 days later; you can cancel before then and pay nothing.
- After that, plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Adding people mid-period is charged for the days left.
- Prices can change with 30 days' notice by email; the new price starts at the next renewal.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
If a payment fails
We retry the card and email the admin. If it still isn't paid, payroll, invoices and exports pause after 7 days and the company becomes read-only after about 3 weeks. Nothing is deleted at that point.
Your data
The customer owns its data. We use it only to run Clockade for the customer, as described in the privacy policy. The customer can export it at any time. After cancelling, data is kept for 90 days so you can come back, then deleted.
Acceptable use
Don't use Clockade to break the law, to track people without telling them, to send spam, or to attack or overload the service. We may pause a company that does, and will tell the admin why.
Availability
We work to keep Clockade running and backed up every night, but we can't promise it will never be down. We'll post problems at status.clockade.com.
Liability
Clockade is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what the customer paid us in the 12 months before it, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Payroll figures are calculations from the rules the customer sets; the customer checks them before paying anyone.
Ending
The customer can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. We can end the service with 30 days' notice, or at once for serious misuse.
Changes and law
We'll email admins before material changes to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
