Daily reminders and Discord stand-ups

Reminders ask people for something every working day, like a morning stand-up when they start the timer or an end-of-day update before closing, and keep asking until it is done.

Set one up

Admins open Settings → Time & attendance → Reminders → New reminder:

  • A title, who gets it (everyone or some people) and the message.
  • Starts: when they start the timer, or 10 to 45 minutes before the day ends.
  • Ask again every 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes.
  • It's done when they press Done, write an answer, or post to Discord.

Discord

Paste a Discord channel webhook and press Save link and send a test. Answers are posted under each person's name. Each person can also have their own thread.

Where people see them

In the Mac and Windows apps, on My attendance and on the Chrome extension's icon. They only run on working days while the timer runs. Stop asks for an end-of-day reminder first.

Team time → Today shows who finished each reminder and when, and their answers.
