Expense funds: money held for expenses
An expense fund is company money a person holds to spend on the company's behalf, for example an office manager buying supplies.
- Admins use Give money for expenses to record money handed over.
- Staff use Record money you received when they get money; an admin confirms it.
- Claims marked Expense fund are paid from it.
The balance each person holds is what they were given minus what they spent. It shows on Expenses under Money held for expenses.
