We built Clockade to run our own team.
Clockade started inside Innovation With Pixels, a design and development studio. We needed one place for hours, attendance, leave, payroll and client billing, and nothing we tried fit the way a real studio works.

Our days were spread across a time tracker, an attendance sheet, a leave spreadsheet, chat threads about who was online, and long days of payroll at the end of every month.
So we built the tool we wanted: an app on every laptop that keeps the day without anyone thinking about it, and a dashboard that turns that day into attendance, salaries and invoices.
We use Clockade every working day. Every feature on this site exists because our own team needed it, and most were rebuilt after a week of real use.
The logo is the idea in one picture: a C made of eight hour blocks. Five are done, the white one is now, and the rest of the day is still ahead.
Fair by default
Staff know what is recorded, and can see their own record.
Quiet
The app does its job in the background and stays out of the way.
Plain words
Every number says how it was worked out.
Built from use
We ship what our own team needs, then fix it after a week of real use.
